Seriously … somebody take my pulse, I have had a stupidly productive day, not too sure what’s going on! Not only did my Cutsie Toots turn 5 AND I made chocolate dipped strawberries, but mine and Man Beast’s craftiness has taken on a life of it’s own! Beautiful Girly has an Egyptian day at school tomorrow and has to go in costume. She requested the Cleopatra look. Well, not one to dishearten the Beautiful one, the mission was set. White dress and a bit of black make-up? Easy! However, Man Beast decided to up the challenge and get all fancy …. 2 weeks ago he started a gorgeous gold tiara. I was all set to make some card thingys to go around her arms and wrist, covered in jewels …. and yet here we are 9.30pm the night before the deadline and Man Beast has literally just finished his (actually pretty amazing) tiara and I have hand knitted a gold belt and necklace! Oh yes ….. our skills our plentiful, they just need a little fine tuning. Let’s hope Beautiful Girly is just as impressed with the parents efforts …!

Is there any end to yours and manbeast’s talents?? Now all you need to do is to teach your eldest to “walk like an Egyptian” in the morning xx
hahaha…just a shame they don’t get to dress up every morning for school. She was ready at least a half hour earlier than usual…and that’s including her make up! x
